Host of KRLD 1080's "Eye on the Internet"
The Single Greatest Need Created by the
Internet, and How to Fill It.

Forget the technology of the Internet... it's the social changes that make the darned thing so impactful. The way people relate to customers, fellow employees, employers, students, and especially Corporate America has been radically changed by the speed with which information can be delivered and discovered via the Internet. The single greatest need created by the Internet is... come find out!
Katie Pruett is the host of KRLD's "Eye on the Internet" that airs Monday through Friday, 7 pm to 8 pm.
Katie was born and raised in Kentucky where she got her first radio job at age 14. She moved to Dallas to attend SMU in 1980. If you are a longtime Dallas resident, you'll remember KNUS-FM, where Katie worked from 1980-1982.
After graduation she worked for a national radio sales representative, as a product manager, and also as a sales representative for a software company. In 1988 she returned to her real love: being on the radio. In 1992, she returned to Dallas where she worked for KYNG ("Young Country") for eight years.
She ran a part-time web design firm for about two years and was the webmaster for the KYNG website. But her primary love of the internet is not in knowing how to program it, but in appreciating all the things the net can do. Nothing delights her more than finding a useful website, or a well-crafted marketing tie-in, or an individual who has put up a website out of sheer love of the subject.
You can read Katie Pruett's articles in each edition of "Today's Dallas Woman" magazine. Katie is single. She enjoys racquetball and is involved with her church.
