Maura Schreier-Fleming works with business and sales professionals on skills and strategies so they can sell more and be more productive at work. She founded her company Best@Selling in 1997. She believes that selling is the best job in the world even though it certainly is not the easiest. Through her seminars and consulting her mission is to make it easier for salespeople to sell.
She is the author of Real-World Selling for Out-of-this-World Results. She wrote Real-World Selling for sales professionals who want more how-to examples of successful selling strategies. She writes the column Selling Strategies for the Insurance Record. Her articles on selling have been published locally and nationally.
Her clients include Pizza Hut, J.C. Penney, Fujitsu, Southwest Airlines Flight Attendants Union, DART, Chase Bank of Texas, UPS, and Fina. She writes the column 'Selling Strategies' for the Insurance Record. Her articles on selling have been published both locally and nationally. She is the author of the recently released book Real-World Selling for Out-of-this-World Results.
Maura is a Textile Engineer by training. She began her career as a sales engineer for Mobil Oil. While at Mobil she was their first female Lubrication Engineer in the United States. After moving to Texas, she worked for Chevron where she was recognized as one of the top 5 salespeople in the country. She produced over $9 million in sales her final year at Chevron. Maura received her M.S. from Georgia Tech in Textile Engineering. She earned a B.S. from Cornell University in Textile Chemistry.
