The Richards Group – called
Pharr Cox Communications – and
led the firm until 1986 when it

firm in Dallas.
In 1986, she founded C.
Pharr & Company as an
independent PR firm. In 1989, she succeeded in selling the firm to Tracy-Locke
Advertising, an Omnicom (NYSE)
agency, which she served as CEO
of PR until 1993.
Beginning in 1994, Ms.
Pharr launched C. Pharr &
Company as a communications
management consultancy.

in finding talent for
corporations and public
entities.
