Glenn founded BaldrigeCoach in 1989 to
help organizations become more
productive, profitable, and fun places
to work in by harnessing the power of
performance excellence. His firm
consistently produces profound results
for clients across America by applying
the Baldrige Criteria and lean tools,
systems, and principles of the Shingo
Prize. A service organization reduced
customer returns over 90% and saved over
15 million dollars, a manufacturer
avoided making a 7 million dollar
capital expenditure by adopting a lean
strategy, and a distributor improved
customer satisfaction by 50%.
To date he has coached
fourteen
companies that received the Baldrige
Award including local recipients Park
Place Lexus, Texas Name Plate, Branch
Smith Printing, Karlee, and Marlow
Industries.
Glenn is a frequent speaker and workshop
presenter at state, national and
international conferences.
Glenn retired from AT&T in 1989, after
working in a broad range of
manufacturing and service management
positions. That organization received
three Baldrige Awards, the Shingo Prize,
and the Deming Prize.
Glenn’s field experience includes
service as a Malcolm Baldrige National
Quality Award Examiner in 1992 and 1993,
Texas Quality Award Judge from 1994 to
1999, a Shingo Prize Examiner from 2000
to 2008, and national-level judge for
the ASQ International Team Excellence
Award Process.
